Registration Fee

A non-refundable registration fee of $50.00 is required at the time of registration. This fee is separate from tuition and is not applied toward your child's monthly tuition payments. Before classes begin in August, each family must submit their first month's tuition.

Tuition Fees & Refund Policy

Northminster Christian Preschool and Kindergarten operates on a 9-month school year. Upon registering, your child is signed up for the entire school year. In the event your plans change, we require at least a two-week notice of withdrawal. Monthly tuition payments cannot be refunded or prorated for early withdrawal.

Tuition payments are due by the 5th day of each month, September through May. Payments made after the 5th of the month will be charged an additional $5.00 late fee. If tuition fees become more than one month in arrears, and no arrangements have been made for payment, we reserve the right to cash the post-dated check of deposit, drop your child from our school rolls and give your child's place to the next child on our waiting list.

There is NO TUITION REDUCTION for absenteeism or for the months of December or May. Our fees are based on a 9-month school year with payments divided into 9 equal installments.

FEES FOR THE 2004-2005 SCHOOL YEAR

Two Days per Week.........................................$120.00/month
Mornings - 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon

Three Days per Week.......................................$160.00/month
Mornings - 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon

Five Days per Week (Butterflies only)...............$235.00/month
Mornings - 9:00 A.M. to 12 Noon

Kindergarten: Five Days per Week....................$250.00/month
Mornings - 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon

Preschool and Kindergarten Enrichment Program Fees

Our Enrichment program runs from 12 Noon – 1:30 P.M. four days a week, Monday-Thursday. It is offered at a daily rate of $7.00 per child, and families must sign up and reserve a minimum of one month at a time. Drop-ins will be permitted on a space-available basis only. Payment for Enrichment is due at the same time as regular tuition, by the 5th day of the month, and there is no refund for partial hours.

The younger children will be in their own group and the 4-year-olds and Kindergartners in another. This program will continue to build and enhance skills being taught in the morning. The children will enjoy an extended time of enrichment classes such as Art, Spanish, Music, Drama, Gymnastics, etc., with the loving supervision of our staff. Children should bring a sack lunch. Families must sign up and reserve one month at a time.

Making Payments

All payments must be made in the preschool office. Payments are the responsibility of the individual and monthly reminders are not given. When paying in cash, please bring the exact amount due, as change is not available. Credit and debit cards are not accepted methods of payment. Please do not mail tuition payments or place tuition checks in the church offering plates; we will not be responsible for payments made this way nor can we guarantee they will be posted to your school account. Payments are due the 5th day of each month.

Late Pick-Up Charge

All children should be picked up promptly at 12 Noon as the planned school program is completed at this time, and it can be very upsetting for a child to be the only one left at school. If a parent does not arrive and sign out a child before 12:10 pm , a late charge will be assessed to their account. The late charge is $5.00 for each ten-minute period of time. Our staff is not contracted to stay beyond closing time.

Disenrollment Procedures

As stated in the Tuition Fees section of this manual, if you choose to withdraw your child from school, please give two weeks advance notice or you are responsible for the entire month's tuition. In the event of withdrawal in the middle of the billing period, for any reason, tuition will not be prorated. If your child has not attended class for one month and tuition has not been paid, your child will be terminated from the preschool program, your last month's deposit check will be cashed and the registration fee must be paid to re-enroll. Re-enrollment is not guaranteed and will be possible only if space is available.
