It's become a little phrase in our American culture, hasn't it? When you say you "had to go chapter 11," immediately folks understand that your business went belly-up, bankrupt. "Chapter 11" is a term now for failure. But what if it was a term for wild faith? Take time today to read Hebrews 11. It's a wonderful Bible chapter to read - of how people who should have been bankrupt, stepped out in faith anyway. Abe and Sarah, making geriatric plans, are given a pediatric promise from God! Abraham and his entourage set out on a perilous journey with no AAA Trip Tik; they move from security to who-knows-where on the promise of God. Abraham is called the "Father of Faith" because he trademarked for us what a faith life looks like. It doesn't make sense. But it does when God's voice speaks to you. You aren't sure which direction you're going. But you learn that home is wherever God is. Your faith in God - it might not look like a business success, but since when did that ever stop people in the Bible ... or you!? So today - go chapter 11! God's blessings to you this day! Andy Ross
