Taking Jesus Through the Year! - December 31, 2004

Read Luke 3.

Dear friends,

In Luke 3, we see the good work of the preacher, John the Baptist. He was all about preparing the way for Jesus in all he did. And it worked; and Jesus praised him for that.

Once there was spotted a little boy with a red wagon walking down the street, and in the wagon was the nativity figure of the infant Jesus. A man, seeing this, walked up to the boy and asked, "Son, where did you get that little baby Jesus that's in your wagon?"

The little boy replied, "I got him from the church."

The man asked, "And why did you take him?"

The boy answered, "Well, about a week before Christmas, I prayed to the little Lord Jesus. I told him if he would bring me a red wagon for Christmas, I would give him a ride around the block in it."

Christmas may be over for this year. But in the new year to come, why not live every day - seeking to carry the love and Spirit of Jesus with you, wherever you go?
