Pastor's Corner One Man's Garbage Is Another Man's Treasure! - November 12, 2004 Read Mark 12:38-44. Dear friends, We put our old, broken-down recliner chair and ottoman out on the sidewalk. It was a few days before trash was collected, but my wife reasoned that, instead of hauling it off to the dump, someone else might want it. Within two hours, both chair and ottoman were gone. |

In Mark 12:38-44 we see how a poor woman's few coins measured up as a huge donation in God's eyes. What I'm getting at is this: much of our resources may be viewed on a relativity scale of what's important or not. But what really matters is how we are giving ourselves to God with a heart of devotion. Start with what you have. Think about what a portion of that could mean in God's hands. Then pray. Could you give more? Would you want to? Would God be pleased with more sacrifice? Then just do it! And smile! God's blessings to you this day! Andy Ross
