A message from Pastor Andy Ross...

Use Both Hands! - October 8, 2004

Read Mark 16.

Dear friends,

Mrs. Harvey Kidd once wrote about her grandson, as they together toured the Rocky Mountains. One day they were just standing there, taking in the vista of an incredible mountainscape sweeping out before them, and after a few moments of thoughtful silence, her grandson Richard commented: "Just think - God did all this with only one hand!"

She said she puzzled over this for a moment, but then had to ask what he meant.

"You know, Grandmother," he replied, "the Bible says Jesus was sitting on the right hand of God."

Let me put it to you this way: Just think what God can do through YOUR hands, with his one!

In Mark 16, we are firmly instructed to "Go!"

Friends, start this day right; grab hold of God with both hands, and follow him and serve him, making a difference for someone else around you!
