Youth & Children in Music

Music Ministries - Youth and Children

Music for youth and children is a high priority for the Northminster family. The lifelong value of these experiences cannot be overstated. The children can learn the rudiments of music, from basic note reading and counting to participating in the discipline of a group musical activity, in the context of Christian faith and service. They learn music - and lessons - that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.

Son Life Singers  Son Life Singers

Son Life Singers, for mid-high youth, focuses primarily on the presentation of a musical with songs, drama, costumes and sets. In past years Son Life Singers has given spectacular performances of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and We Are United!, to name but two. This is an extraordinary opportunity for kids to sing, act, have a good time, learn Biblical truths, grow and worship together. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays, at 6:00 P.M. in the Music Rehearsal Room, Multipurpose Building.
