A weekly Men’s Power Lunch is open to you! Pastor Andy Ross leads a weekly Bible study each Thursday from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. All men are invited to join this bring-your-own-lunch group. We dive into the scriptures to seek God’s guidance for living as his disciples. Come over to the Grundstrom Room and have lunch with us – all men are welcome!
Northminster Men's Ministry Mission Statement
The Northminster Men's Association is dedicated to energizing our relationship with Jesus Christ and spiritual growth through service - men helping men grow in their relationship with God, self, family, church and neighbors ...
Leading to - strong bonds of friendship with other church men and encouragement to be faithful examples and bold disciples ...
That results from - prayer, study, working in mission, and enjoyment of fellowship and recreation.
The Call...
Here at Northminster, we attempt to take very seriously the call of God in our lives. This call is to live a life of integrity, honesty, spiritual leadership and love wherever God has placed us. One of the great ways we can support this important call is to gather together for fellowship with other men inside and outside our church walls. That is why, for years, Northminster has offered programs and events at which men can gather to support and pray for each other.
The Tradition...
In the past, the Men's Association has enjoyed a variety of diverse events including steak cookouts, presentations by local sports figures and business people, and the annual Ash Wednesday breakfast. Also included in the list of events is the Men's Association's traditional involvement as servers and dishwashers (the best waiters and busboys in Tucson!) at the annual Northminster Mother-Daughter-Sister-Friend Banquet. This is always a time of good food, fellowship, fun and growth for the Christian community at Northminster.
The Future...
In the year ahead, we are gearing up to continue this grand tradition. Plans are currently being made for more great guest speakers to come and share how their faith impacts them both in their personal and professional lives. In a Christian atmosphere of great food (which is always a plus), fellowship and diversity of issues, we will continue to seek to investigate and share with one another the strong bond to which Jesus Christ has called us.
