Director's Message

Children are a precious gift from God!

At Northminster we seek through the Holy Spirit to help children come to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, grow in their faith, and go out into the world equipped to honor God throughout their lives.

Nurturing families is a primary goal at Northminster. We strive to provide a safe, child-friendly place where your family can learn, praise, and celebrate together in Christ.

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to minister to your children. We appreciate any comments or questions regarding our programs and their content. Also, we are always in need of caring, helping hands to participate in our ministries. Those who volunteer in our programs find their service to God is as valuable and rewarding to themselves as it is to the children. If you would like to assist in any area of Children’s Ministries, please contact us.

Our Programs

Our mission is to provide a Christ-centered environment to meet the needs of children and famillies through Bible-based learning, worship and fellowship activities. To achieve our mission we offer a variety of children's programs; we hope they will be of interest to your child.

Please follow the links below for further information on our Children's Ministries programs:

  • Nursery: quality child care for Sunday mornings and other special events.
  • Sunday School: active, Bible-based learning taught by loving, Christian teachers.
  • Children's Church:worship designed for children to experience God at their level.
  • Children & Music: musical opportunities for children in Choraliers (our childrens choir) and Ringers of Joy (our children's handbell choir).
  • Special Programs: special programs and events where children celebrate together.
  • Stewardship: opportunities for children to experience serving God in the church and community.

Northminster also provides weekday and summer opportunities for children to come and learn about Jesus Christ in a safe and creative environment beyond our Sunday schedule. In these programs, we want children and youth to interact with the teachings of Scripture and apply them to their lives. Information and registration forms for individual activities are available in the church office, or you may contact us.
