Mission Statement of
Northminster Presbyterian Church
Belonging to Jesus Christ,
Centered in God’s Love
We are called to …
Celebrate the glory of God in our
worship and work.
Care for one another in the name
of the One “who first loved us.”
Carry the Good News of the love
of Christ to Tucson and beyond.
Alpha is a simple, dynamic and effective way of introducing the essentials of
the Christian faith to one and all. It’s geared
for those who have questions, or for those
who want to reaffirm or clarify what they
believe. It’s open and helpful for all!
The Alpha course is a ten-week practical
introduction to the Christian faith, and it is
designed to serve all denominations,
traditions, backgrounds and ages (teens and
older welcome!). We begin at 6:00 P.M. with a
supper we enjoy together - then continue
with excellent teaching and interaction,
concluding by 8:30 P.M. Childcare is
available. Please contact us for more information or to register.

We believe here at Northminster
that as we gather in community
our worship is strengthened.
We gather to praise, pray and seek
God’s teaching in our lives.
Our hope is that you will see and experience Jesus in your worship
- please join us!
It is our belief that reading through God’s Word is a transforming experience as we allow the Holy Spirit to teach us Biblical truths and as we connect and find our place in God’s story of calling, redeeming, and sending.
The One Year Bible is a reading plan that takes us day by day through the Bible with an Old Testament, New Testament, Psalm and Proverb reading every day. Those readings are listed each day at www.godmorning.org. Use your own Bible and four bookmarks, or you can pick up a copy of The One Year Bible in the church office or at a bookstore.
The devotionals written here are the fruit of a dedicated team of writers who base their writing on one of the Scripture verses for that day’s reading. It is our hope that each devotional opens a door for you to have an encounter with the Scripture and that it can even be shared with family and friends as you discuss the themes, challenges and hopes that the reading brings.
So..., as you daily journey through God’s Word, may these devotionals and Sunday study guides help you in discovering God’s will for you and your life.
Start your day out right ... and join us each morning at www.godmorning.org.
Now in our sixth year of radio broadcasts...
Our worship services and ministry are broadcast on KGMS, 940 AM, six days a week - Sundays from 6:00-7:00 P.M. and Monday through Friday from 6:30-7:00 A.M. Our Sunday night broadcast, Lift High the Cross, features a replay of that morning's worship service, typically the 9:30 A.M. service. Our weekday morning broadcast, True North, includes sermon lessons and Wednesday interviews of ordinary Christian disciples in our community, who are doing extraordinary things for God.
